I've just realised that "pikkies" means "pictures". I previously thought that an extra "l" had slipped in and that you'd bought the volvo from some nice honest gypsy types.
Which would be a much better story, and one that I'd strongly urge you to pursue.
By extra "l" I obviously meant an extra "k".
